The Leaders Education Foundation was formed by Leaders Credit Union in 2019 to Give Forward to the community. Giving Forward allows community-minded citizens, members, and organizations to unite together to bring educational resources and opportunities students and educators in West Tennessee.

Leaders Education Foundation believes every child and student, every adult, every educator, and every member of our community needs a champion who will never give up on them. Leaders Education Foundation will make lives better together by providing grants, scholarships and resources to our community that supports lifelong learning, workforce development, and education so that every person is empowered to become the best that they can possibly be.

Individual Charter Membership
To become a member of the Leaders Education Foundation, please mail a completed pledge form and membership dues to the Leaders Education Foundation, P.O. Box 101440, Jackson, TN 38308
Individual Charter Membership to the Leaders Education Foundation allows your name and financial commitment to forever be listed in the records of the foundation. Founding Charter Membership is only $510.00 ($10.00 membership + $500 donation).
Individual membership is $10.00 and your donation will allow the foundation to give forward to students, teachers and community members throughout West Tennessee.
Corporate Charter Membership
As a Corporate Charter Sponsor and unless otherwise directed by you, your company’s commitment may be recognized at the first annual meeting; in the permanent records of the Foundation; and/or on the Foundation’s website, which will be launched in 2020.
Act now to secure a charter membership to be pledged by March 31, 2020, prior to the foundation’s first annual meeting in April.
*The Foundation has been approved for a 501(c)(3) exemption so that all donations will be tax-deductible. The exemption was made retroactive to 4/1/2019 with all donations after that date considered tax-deductible.
Leaders Education Foundation Scholarships
Helping our Future Move Forward
The Leaders Education Foundation Scholarship will award up to $10,000 in scholarships to students throughout West Tennessee to help our future move forward.
These scholarships will be presented to West Tennessee high school seniors who portray leadership in their school and community. Applicants may be applying to a traditional four-year university, community college, the Tennessee College of Applied Technology or other technical or vocational programs or schools. The Leaders Education Foundation Scholarship will be offering the following one-time scholarships:
- Financial Wellness Video Scholarship – $2,500: This scholarship is designated to students who provide a video submission providing tips or suggestions on “How to Be Financially Fit.” Students must submit a video link through YouTube with their application. Submissions will be posted on Leaders Education Foundation Facebook page and the number of likes gained by each submission will be factored into the scholarship scorecard for added points. Please see the Video Submission Consent and Guidelines attached to the scholarship packet.
- Founders Scholarship- $1,500: this scholarship is designated for high school seniors graduating from a high school within the Jackson-Madison County School System.
- Community Scholarship - $1,500: four one-time scholarships are designated for students in Union City & Obion County, TN (1), Milan and Gibson County, TN (1), within the city of Bartlett, TN (1) and all other surrounding counties in West Tennessee (1-including Madison County, TN).
